These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SiteMix, a self-service website builder operated from Hong Kong, at sitemixhk.com and in the SiteMix Android app (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
SiteMix lets you build, edit, host and publish your own websites and online shops using templates and plugins, and connect your own domain. It is self-service: you design and manage your sites yourself.
2. Your account
You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can sign in with email and password or with Google. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live if you buy a subscription.
3. Plans, prices and billing
- SiteMix offers two monthly subscription plans: Pro at US$10 per month and Business at US$30 per month. There is no free plan and no annual billing.
- Currency: all prices are in US dollars (USD) and are charged in USD. If your card or account uses another currency, your bank, card issuer or PayPal may convert the amount and charge its own conversion fees. Where Google Play shows a price in your local currency, the price shown in Google Play applies to purchases made in the app.
- Trial month: your first month is paid upfront and serves as your trial month.
- Subscriptions renew automatically every month at the then-current price until you cancel.
- On the website, payments are processed by PayPal (PayPal account or card). In the Android app, subscriptions bought in the app are processed by Google Play Billing and are also subject to Google Play’s terms.
- We will give notice before changing prices for existing subscribers; a new price applies from your next billing period.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for. For subscriptions bought through Google Play, cancel in the Google Play app (Payments & subscriptions); refunds for those purchases follow Google Play’s refund policy. Except where required by law, payments already made are not refundable, but if you think you were charged in error, email support@sitemixhk.com and we will look into it.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you put on your sites. You give us permission to store, copy, display and transmit it only as needed to run the Service (for example, to host and publish your site, or to translate it if you turn on automatic translation). You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to use it.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use SiteMix to publish or sell anything illegal; to infringe others’ rights; to host malware, phishing or fake login or payment pages; to send spam; or to attack, overload or try to break into the Service or other people’s accounts. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Domains and third-party services
Domains you connect are registered with, and paid to, your own registrar. Payment, sign-in, translation and other third-party services are provided under those companies’ own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep SiteMix running reliably but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we ever shut down the Service, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your sites.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using SiteMix at any time and ask us to delete your account (see Data Deletion). We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms or fail to pay.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, SiteMix is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for important changes, notify account holders. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
